Purpose:
The Tanjore Dance Music and Art Research Centre Public Trust (TDMARC) is dedicated to the education, encouragement, and propagation of Bharatnatyam in its original, classical Tanjore Nritya Gharana under the guidance of Guru Shri Ramesh Kubernath Tanjorkar, Guru Smt. Leela Ramesh Tanjorkar, and their family.
Membership:
1. Types of Membership:
Individual: Open to individuals interested in Bharatnatyam and the Tanjore Nritya Gharana.
Institutional: Open to schools, colleges, and organizations that wish to support and promote Bharatnatyam.
2. Membership Benefits:
*Access to workshops, classes, and performances organized by TDMARC.
*Discounts on merchandise and events.
*Voting rights in the Trust’s decision-making process.
3. Membership Fees:
Membership fees will be determined annually by the Trust’s governing body.
Classes and Workshops:
1. Curriculum: TDMARC will offer classes and workshops in Bharatnatyam, focusing on the traditional Tanjore Nritya Gharana style.
2. Eligibility: Classes will be open to students of all ages and levels of experience.
3. Fees: Class fees will be determined based on the student’s level and the duration of the course. The Range of Fees is between 1000/- to 2999/-.
Performances:
1. Organization: TDMARC will organize regular performances showcasing the talents of its students and faculty.
2. Venue: Performances will be held at various venues, including theaters, temples, and cultural centers.
Research and Publications:
1. Research: TDMARC will conduct research on the history, traditions, and techniques of the Tanjore Nritya Gharana.
2. Publications: The Trust will publish research papers, books, and other materials related to Bharatnatyam.
Governance:
1. Governing Body: The Trust will be governed by a Board of Trustees, consisting of members appointed by the founders.
2. Decision-Making: The Board of Trustees will make decisions regarding the Trust’s policies, programs, and finances.
Financial Management:
1. Donations: The Trust will accept donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations.
2. Expenditures: Funds will be used to support the Trust’s activities, including education, research, and performances.
Dispute Resolution:
1. Mediation: In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter through mediation.
2. Legal Action: If mediation fails, the parties may resort to legal action.
Amendments:
1. Modifications: The Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time by the Board of Trustees.
2. Notification: Members will be notified of any changes to the Terms and Conditions.

Refund Policy for Tanjore Dance Music and Art Research Centre Public Trust
General Policy
Tanjore Dance Music and Art Research Centre Public Trust (TDMARC) is committed to providing quality education and experiences. However, due to the nature of our programs, refunds are generally not provided once enrollment has been confirmed and classes have commenced.
Exceptions
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
*Medical Reasons: If a student is unable to attend classes due to a medical condition, a refund may be granted upon submission of a doctor’s certificate.
*Force Majeure: In cases of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of TDMARC, such as natural disasters or government-imposed restrictions, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
*Program Cancellation: If TDMARC cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment or other reasons, full refunds will be issued.
Refund Process
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please submit a written request to contact@bharatnatyamdance.com within 10 days of the event or program cancellation. Your request should include:
* Your full name
* Enrollment details (program, date, etc.)
* Reason for refund request
* Supporting documentation (if applicable, such as a doctor’s certificate)
TDMARC will review your request and notify you of the decision within 2-3 days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-6 business days.
Additional Notes
* Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
* Any administrative fees or processing charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
* TDMARC reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time.
